Our approach on creating the ‘Tremor Stabilizing wrist Band’ was to compose a design that achieves its purpose without any additional mechanics but solely with the materials that are selected. It exclusively wraps and stabilizes the key points of the joints in the wrist area that provides sheer efficiency without disturbing the natural movement of the hand while feeling non-existent. The bio-driver material PA11 that is filled with Carbon fiber to reinforce and enhance the plasics stiffness while maintaining its lightweight provided satisfactory results in conveying our intentions. Along with the 3D woven techniques ( a single fabric system) that allows different layers to be created with multiple weave structure and thickness that results in a stronger structure in the necessary parts. In the aim of reinforcing key points in the wrist. Further areas excluding the joints are fabricated with a thinner layer of material in addition to the triangular voids that are centered on the band to generate both airflow and comfort. By extending the silicone band the ‘tape locking mechanism’ permits the wrist to stretch (lock) according to the individuals personal preferences and needs. Throughout the quarters of the product a thin layer of high quality foam rubber is framed, allowing a barrier to form for a smooth transition between the and and the glove.
